REVIVAL IN FRANCE

In France results of XV are opposite to results of Germany. Movement of Reformation has failed here, and France remained Catholic. Already to the beginning of XVI century France became an absolute monarchy. The royal power was enough strong and in XV century. It left a certain mark on the French art. Monarchs increased shine and glory of a court yard, surrounding themselves artists, but and putting it the requirements. In XV century the best achievements of the French art are connected with tiny painting which had rich old traditions in France.
